Day 63: - The Givers - 33km

So many people helped us out!

Thanks to Stephanie, we had our day all planned out. We rode along a bike path (after going 1km in the wrong direction). Some bikers smiled and said bonjour, others told us we weren't allowed to be there. There were no signs saying we weren't allowed, and after talking to other people, it is horse friendly. Some people just don't like to share I guess.

We got to the barn Stephanie boards at, Anemo, where the horses had a nice break in a paddock and we had a nice break in the barn.

Marc and Olivier showed up with smoothies from Timmies. Marc remembered how much we love our smoothies. It was nice to see them and chat about our coming weeks.

The girls at Anemo bought a huge buffet lunch and we talked a bit about what they do and what we do. Maude suggested we get in touch with the people at Wesley Clover Park during the horse show about setting something up so we can fundraise more money for Dog Guides.

Anemo has the cutest dalmatians! They are my dream dog and they were SO beautiful.

We were back on the road and ready to rumble. It was strange seeing signs they we recognized when we used to go up to our cousin's cottage in saint Saveur.

We arrived at Genevieve's that evening. Kathleen came shortly after with our packs. When she heard we were going to sleep in our tents, she offered to drive us back to her place so we could sleep in the beds again. We said yes! We couldn't turn down another night in those comfortable beds. We stopped at the grocery store and grabbed some sushi for dinner and then were off to bed in a bed :)
