Rest at Les Pieds Sur Terre

We got to stay in this beautiful eco-house that was a tepee. It was supposed to be a nice day, but it ended up raining in the afternoon. We spent way too long running around Saint-Jerome shopping, replenishing supplies, trading in broken items for new ones and grocery shopping, doing laundry. By the time we got back, it was getting late, and the weather changed. We still had time to make some veggie shish kabobs, and play some cards.

We highlined the horses at night near the tepee, and in the day they got to go in the paddock that was set up for the mini horse and donkey. Luckily we had gotten a bale of hay from a farm down the road.

Waking up to the sun roof was pretty cool. But climbing down the loft ladder at 2am was not fun. I could hear the horses pawing around outside. They were fine, but the line was low, so Mom and I tightened it and went back to sleep.

Joseph luckily got offered to sleep in the dome, so we were only 6 in the tepee, crowded but cosy.
