Day 41: Big Dogs & Beaches - 0km

Theres not much to say about this day.

We took a rest day at Sebs & Billies. Since we started, I don't think I've ever been so content to just relax at someones house. Ive always felt this need to keep moving. Although I am so exhausted, it always feels like theres no purpose when we are not on the road. It gives you time to miss home and think about better days.

Here, in Riviere Ouelle, it was different. The house reminded me of Katies apartment in Montreal, and the vibes of the place we're just so positive and happy. It was a beautiful day, and we got to have some cuddles with the sweetest dog, Trigger. I instantly fell in love with that big boy and already miss him.

Since Seb and Billie worked all day, the 3 of us went to the thrift shop right beside their house. Katie and I bought some used tank tops and imagined all the things we would buy if we had our own house. For now though, our home changes every day and we couldn't be happier.

I made us some darn good sandwiches for lunch. We all agreed they were the best ones yet.

Billie got home around 4:30 and was excited to take us to the beach! We loaded in to the car, Trigger included, and spent some time enjoying the view, soothing our sore, blistered feet and taking in the windy sea.

Katie and Billie shared stories from Montreal and found out that a bar Katie worked at, Billie always went to!! How crazy?!

I love that there are farms everywhere.

Lux and Ora couldn't come to the beach, but they were happy in their perfect little paddock.
