Brents in Florencevilve to Baird's Campground in Perth Andover

I don’t remember…

The days are starting to blur together.

Long and boring. We ran out of things to think about.

The landscapes are beautiful.

Variations of grass and water, trees and water, grass and trees, hills and plains...

You forget what happened yesterday.

And you have no clue what day of the week it is.

Oh theres a pretty waterfall.. but then its gone.

Back to the path....

Until…

At 10:30pm, at the campground where we were the only people there, out of the shadows apeared a lumberjack looking man.

Walking pointedly towards me.

Was it..

A murderer?!?!?

Or…

Drew Christie?? What are you doing here.

It was neither.

We shook hands and a smiling young man with bright blue eyes and unruley blonde hair introduced himself as Thomas. He asked me; “So, is there anything i can do to help the horses?”

We talked for a few minutes,

Joseph came over and joined in.

After several minutes, Thomas admitted he had no clue what we were doing, only that a friend of his had sent him a post we shared and that he should come meet us and see if we need help. So he did!

We explained what we were doing, and he immediately thought it was cool. Thomas had traveled for 8 years, been across Canada 5 times, and had hitch hiked from Dawson, Yukon, to Perth in New Brunswick. He told us some great stories and we all hung out for a bit. He even agreed to drive our packs the following morning, and take Joseph to a bakery he used to work at.

More to come about our new friend.
