Christine’s to Whitman Inn

The cutest pup Rylie we met at Becky and Berny's.
We had our best day yet yesterday! We forget how much it helps to have decent weather and good food.
Christine made us some filling oatmeal that morning to get us started. (Thank you, it was much needed!) We set out around 11am, after pulling off 15 ticks from each horse! Ugh! Both horses had a jump in their step from all the grass they got. Our first stop was at the local school in Caledonia. We did a little ride around and met some pretty cool kids and teachers! Thanks for the exciting experience and giving us the opportunity to inspire other young adults and kids. Here's us with the lovely principle.

Below, Ora get's detention, because..well you know.. she's five and generally sassy.

We then headed to The Hollow Log Cafe and had the best lunch. Not 1km after we stopped by at Tara's, who gave us some goodies, which were so good, thank you! The horses also enjoyed carrots from the kids.
Joseph picked up some Jack because he wants to be a cowboy now. Us munching at the Hollow Log.

Later we stopped at Becky and Bernies, who had a buffet waiting for the horses, and gave us a nice break with tea and home made treats from Elaine and Raymond. We weren't too full to eat the best cookies and bread we've ever had! Nice to meet Jullie-Anne as well!
Finally, we were offered a place by Monika and Herald to stay at the Whitman Inn. We couldn't turn that down considering Joe across the street had a huge pasture for the horses. It was more than perfect and we couldn't thank them enough for their kindness. We also met Kevin, Teresa and Grant, who bought us breakfast this morning at the Inn.
